Our 4-week Unlocking Creativity course, live in our studio in Bronte, is a totally practical yet inspirational creative process that will get you writing from day one.
By the end of the course, you will see your writing dramatically improve, whether you are a complete beginner, a professional writer or anywhere in between. After Unlocking Creativity, you can either join one of our enlightening short-story courses or begin the inspiring process of writing your novel or screenplay.
Find and develop the story you truly want to write, following a step-by-step process to complete your first draft in ten months, working with a group of like-minded creative writers and with the ongoing support of our studio team and your personal tutor.
You will develop a deep understanding of classic story structure, enabling you to write a story that has your readers wanting to know what happens next, while taking your main character on an emotional and spiritual journey of change.
Note: If you join the Novel & Script First Draft course directly, you will receive the prerequisite 4-Week Unlocking Creativity course complimentary.
The course commences every March and September with a maximum of 26 writers per course.
Our Short Story Courses are ideal for writers who have completed Unlocking Creativity and want to further develop their writing craft and deepen their understanding of the short story form.
Short stories give you the freedom to explore different styles, genres, characters and ideas, helping you discover the kind of writer you want to be and the kind of story you want to write.
You will receive targeted feedback on every piece you post from your dedicated online tutor.
The Short Story courses also provide you with ideal preparation for the Novel & Script First Draft course.
We offer three, six-week Short Story courses:
