Roland Fishman created The Writers' Studio in 1992. He is a UNSW Arts/Law graduate, has been a professional writer since 1980, worked as a journalist for The Sydney Morning Herald, Australian Financial Review and The Good Weekend and has published three books. He runs all live classes.

The Writers' Studio was established in 1992 in Sydney, Australia, and since then thousands of students have completed our creative writing courses both live at our Studio and online.
Course graduates have published novels and non-fiction books, launched careers as writers and journalists, improved their business and academic writing skills, worked in film and television and had their feature films, documentaries and short films they've written produced.
The size of our live and online writing classes are strictly limited to ensure optimal personal tuition.
