INSPIRING FEEDBACK AND UPCOMING COURSES

Below is feedback from participants in a recent Unlocking Creativity.

JACINTA. The course has been a real turning point for me. I learnt more about creative writing than I did in my degree or in my post grad studies. Which really says something about how much I learnt in 4 weeks.

The course showed me that I could find it within me - the "it" being the words, the images, the emotions that had been bogged down in utter self doubt. This course gets you connected with your deepest passion.

FIONA. I found this course alarmingly inspirational. For the first time I feel I can say, I am a writer. I have been so excited about the Wednesday nights knowing I will learn even more about the art of writing. I have learnt to tap into my imagination, evoke emotions through detail, ground the reader and use structure to create drama. Mostly I've discovered something in life that I am passionate about, which is, in the words of the Mastercard ad, priceless.

WENDY. Every night after class, I've gone home elated at what I've learned and the access to the writers board keeps the whole process alive for the whole four weeks.

ALI. I realized I can go to the place in myself where all the good stuff lives. It's been in there all the time, just waiting for me.

JANE. This course provided the first tablespoon of antidote for my lazy, day-dreaming, perfectionistic, arsehole critic which has stood in the way all my life of getting anything done. I have caught a glimpse through a doorway to a garden where I might play everyday, slowly building through imagination and nuggets of structure, a story I want to tell.

NICOLA. The course has made me excited about writing again. I was amazed at how much I learned and by the talent of all the other writers in the group. The daily practice enabled me to get momentum going. And the feedback was invaluable, so instructive and encouraging. I loved the intensity of each class. I felt I have come a long way in each lesson.
