REFUND AND DEFERMENT POLICY

We advise you to read these terms and conditions thoroughly before signing up for any of our courses.

Please note: These terms and conditions are in accordance with the Department of Fair Trading.

FOUR Week Unlocking Creativity Course LIVE
Places only guaranteed when full payment is received. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for refund requests up to one week before class commencement.There will be no refunds given after this time. Before the class commences you may defer to another class if there is space available and a $50 fee may apply if the request is one week or less. However, if there is less than 48 hours notice there will be no deferrments. Once the class has commenced there will be no refunds and no deferments. You may continue to do the course online. We cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. We reserve the right to cancel or change class dates if necessary.

Terms and Conditions: Once the course has begun, there will be no refunds. We cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. You may however, defer for up to 2 months if we are notified in writing, two weeks before. If you have paid upfront and received the Unlocking Course for free, that is deemd as the start of the course and therefore no refunds will be issued once the Unlocking Creativity Course has commenced. PLEASE NOTE: In regards to paying in installments, you are signing up for a 10 month course. You may defer from attending for up to 2 months. However, payments will continue to be deducted in this time whether you continue the course or not.
TWELVE Month 2nd & 3rd Draft Courses LIVE & ONLINE
Terms and Conditions: Your place is only guaranteed when we receive payment. We do not give refunds but you may defer enrolments when there is space available. PLEASE NOTE: In regards to paying in installments, you are signing up for a twelve month course. You may defer from attending for up to 2 months. However, payments will continue to be deducted in this time whether you continue the course or not.

The Ten Month Novel and Script First Draft Course: September 22, 2007: Terms and Conditions: Requests for refunds of the Novel and Script Course fee must be submitted in writing, by mail or fax to The Writers' Studio. There is a $150 non-refundable fee for all refund requests received up until and including July 20, 2007. Between July 21 and August 17, 2007 (inclusive) there will be a $500 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds given from August 18, 2007. Unless there is someone to take your place. You may defer to another course only if there is space available. After the course begins there will be no refunds or deferments. THIS IS OUR POLICY AS WE ALWAYS HAVE A WAITING LIST OF PEOPLE WANTING TO DO THIS COURSE. YOUR ENROLMENT MEANS SOMEONE HAS BEEN TURNED AWAY. YOUR ENROLMENT HAS BOOKED YOU A PLACE IN THIS COURSE ONLY. YOU MAY CONTINUE TO DO THE COURSE ONLINE. The Ten Month Novel and Script First Draft Course: MARCH 15, 2008: Terms and Conditions: Requests for refunds of the Novel and Script Course fee must be submitted in writing, by mail or fax to The Writers' Studio. There is a $150 non-refundable fee for all refund requests received up until and including January 15, 2008. Between January 16 and February 16, 2008 (inclusive) there will be a $490 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds given from February 17, 2008 unless there is someone to take your place. You may defer to another course if there is space available. After the course begins there will be no refunds or deferments. We cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. THIS IS OUR POLICY AS WE ALWAYS HAVE A WAITING LIST OF PEOPLE WANTING TO DO THIS COURSE. YOUR ENROLMENT MEANS SOMEONE HAS BEEN TURNED AWAY. YOUR ENROLMENT HAS BOOKED YOU A PLACE IN THIS COURSE ONLY. There is a $150 non-refundable fee for all refund requests received up until and including July 11, 2008. Between July 12 and August 15, 2008 (inclusive) there will be a $500 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds given from August 16, 2008. You may defer to another course if there is space available and a small admin fee may apply. After the course begins there will be no refunds or deferments. We cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. This is our policy as we always have a waiting list of people wanting to do this course. Your enrolment means someone has been turned away. Your enrolment has booked you a place in this course only. You may continue to do the course online. We reserve the right to cancel or change class dates if necessary.

Between January 22 and February 22, 2009 (inclusive) there will be a $500 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds given from February 23, 2009 unless there is someone to take your place. You may defer to another course if there is space available. After the course begins there will be no refunds or deferments. We cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. This is our policy as we always have a waiting list of people wanting to do this course. Your enrolment means someone has been turned away. Your enrolment has booked you a place in this course only. We reserve the right to cancel or change class dates if necessary.
